Yes. All documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. Your tender data is never shared with other users or used to train AI models. Each company's data is fully isolated, only your team can access your projects. BidThinker complies with applicable data protection legislation.
What can BidThinker do?
BidThinker is three tools in one platform. Cost Estimation turns a structural/condition assessment report into an Order of Magnitude Estimate. BoQ Pricing prices an unpriced Bill of Quantities with AI-built rates for your location and period. Tender Adjudication checks, benchmarks and ranks priced tenders into a recommendation report.
What file formats does BidThinker support?
BidThinker supports PDF (digital and scanned, via OCR) and Excel. Upload tenders, unpriced BoQs or assessment reports as PDF or Excel; priced BoQs and cost estimates are exported to Excel with live formulae, and adjudications as a professional PDF report.
How many tenderers can I compare at once?
The Professional and Enterprise plans support up to 15 tenderer submissions per project. The Starter plan supports up to 5. All tenderers are analysed simultaneously and ranked using our BidScore algorithm.
Do I need technical training to use BidThinker?
No. BidThinker is designed for QS professionals, not IT teams. If you can upload a PDF and read a report, you can use BidThinker. We also provide onboarding support for all new accounts.
Can BidThinker replace my professional judgement as a QS?
No, and it's not designed to. BidThinker is a decision-support tool. It surfaces errors, flags anomalies, and benchmarks rates so you can make faster, better-informed recommendations. All final adjudication decisions remain the responsibility of the qualified QS.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You retain read-only access to your projects and reports for 90 days after cancellation so you can export everything you need. After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
